Japan to host workshop on post-Kyoto goals

CHIBA--Ministers of the world’s 20 major greenhouse gas--emitting nations ended their meeting here Sunday by agreeing to hold an environmental workshop here in May.
Japan’s proposal for the international workshop would involve officials from global research institutions discussing ways of setting country goals to cut greenhouse gas emissions after the Kyoto Protocol on global warming expires in 2012.
