I listened to Professor Shigeru Sudou’s lecture about “Shale gas revolution”.

I listened to Professor Shigeru Sudou’s lecture today.
The contents were “Shale gas revolution”.
He was talking about the great innovation and background of the shale gas revolution first.
In history, horizontal drilling and hydrofracking were groundbreaking technology.
I received strong impression in the way of life of Mr. George Mitchel as the leading player.
The technology of the injected substance in hydrofracking process will become important in order to solve a future environmental problem.
If the price of gas falls at shale gas revolution, the energy price and policy of each country of the United States, Europe, and East Asia will be influenced greatly.
Furthermore, it is thought that it changes even to the political power of each country including Russia and the Middle East.
I have recognized strongly that the fall of the expense concerning LNG import is a policy concern of primary importance, for Japan, depressed in the trade deficit country.
Understand well and it was a hot lecture for all audience.
