The latest trend of solar cell. Film type dye-sensitized solar cell.

The dye-sensitized solar cell using plastic film can be low-cost produced by printing. Film type dye-sensitized solar cell of the sandwich structure is developed, which sandwiches the iodine-based electrolyte between the titanium oxide nanoporous membrane film electrode to make dye of ruthenium-based complex adsorbed and the counter electrode substrate coated with platinum catalyst. The ITO-coated polyethylene naphthalate film was used as a plastic substrate. The production and practical use of module are described.
