Food scraps are put in the kitchen garden in my home in winter.

Food scraps are put in the kitchen garden in my home in winter.
I dig the hole of about 40cm in depth with the shovel.
Garbage and the soil are alternately put in that.
I dig up the following hole when the hole is blocked with garbage.
I sometimes mix it with the shovel.
When spring comes, all garbage is restored to the soil.
The tomato and the cucumber planted in the place are delicious.

The three areas that are critical to our economic future: energy, health care, and education.

Remarks of President Barack Obama - As Prepared for Delivery:
We are a nation that has seen promise amid peril, and claimed opportunity from ordeal. Now we must be that nation again. That is why, even as it cuts back on the programs we don’t need, the budget I submit will invest in the three areas that are absolutely critical to our economic future: energy, health care, and education.

It begins with energy.
We know the country that harnesses the power of clean, renewable energy will lead the 21st century. And yet, it is China that has launched the largest effort in history to make their economy energy efficient. We invented solar technology, but we’ve fallen behind countries like Germany and Japan in producing it. New plug-in hybrids roll off our assembly lines, but they will run on batteries made in Korea.

Thanks to our recovery plan, we will double this nation’s supply of renewable energy in the next three years. We have also made the largest investment in basic research funding in American history - an investment that will spur not only new discoveries in energy, but breakthroughs in medicine, science, and technology.
We will soon lay down thousands of miles of power lines that can carry new energy to cities and towns across this country. And we will put Americans to work making our homes and buildings more efficient so that we can save billions of dollars on our energy bills.

I was impressed a little by Beppu ”Tanayu” hot spring.

I did sightseeing travel around Japan last week.
As for Japan, it is not cold and meal is also delicious at this season.
I was impressed a little by Beppu ”Tanayu” hot spring.
The amount of the hot water in the entire Beppu is numerous.
Doesn’t the Japanese use this terrestrial heat?

I think volatility of crude oil prices affect the spread of renewable energy.

Crude oil was higher near $ 110 price last year, became cheaper to $ 45.
When a price decline of petroleum continues just as it is, what kind of impact occurs?
I wonder it affect the spread of renewable energy?
Currently crude oil is the mankind maximum of energy resources.
Volatility of crude oil prices also from the point of view of the development of energy-saving technology is scary.

Garbage classification differs for every city.

It is a rule of almost all the cities in Japan to classify household garbage and to take out to a garbage station.
Moreover, the day of the week of garbage take out is also decided.

For example, it is the classification of combustible trash, incombustible trash, an ignition quality dangerous object, a bulky waste, a plastic, etc.

Isn't just environmental enhancement worthy compared with economic growth?

The number of PM2.5 of Japanese every place has gone up for these days.
Particulates are big losses also on a health aspect or the financial side.
Improvement in Chinese power generation technology and automobile waste gas technology is hurried.
Isn't just environmental enhancement worthy compared with economic growth?
