I don't understand the reason why the Japanese strictly expects the progress of the season.

Yesterday the graduation ceremony was held at the university that I learnt.
I will expect graduation next year.
Cherry blossoms are full-bloomed today almost.
Cherry blossoms were full-bloomed when I came to Japan by going to study abroad on that day of the entrance ceremony.
I think the difference of several days.
However, the Japanese greatly believes this difference to be a problem for only several days.
I don't understand the reason why the Japanese strictly expects the progress of the season.
