I listened to Professor Kenichi Nakagami’s lecture about “the challenge to water business”

I listened to Professor Shigeru Sudou’s lecture yesterday.
The 21st century is called ”century of water.”
I had given up learning with a sense of prejudice that water problem and water business were complicated.
Although I was interested until now, there was no opportunity to study.
Water problem and water business were lectured by Professor Kenichi Nakagami’s, from many sides, and it was intelligible.

The water problem is a health issue. However, it does not limited to technological opportunities, such as water-purifying technology and water supply infrastructure system technology. Healthily suitable water resources are unevenly distributed on our earth. It is connected with the economic development of its country, and the security, and is very complicated.

The water problems are problems of poverty, are an economic problem and have induced a severe confrontation.
Then, each country gathered the water vision, the forum was opened, and it argued about entry of the private company. It seems that the water major company of a European and American system plays an active part toward the high water business of needs all over the world. And Japan’s experience is still insufficient in collective strength.

However, in water disposal apparatus or an engineering section, a company with technical capabilities exists in Japan.
In addition, the local government unit of Japan with the accumulation of technology and long history is accelerating overseas expansion to target Southeast Asia.

Moreover, Concerning water business within Japan, the serious subject of finances, technical succession, and management are occurring. In connection with the decrease in population, we should also hurry this problem. ”

It was easy to understand and was a wonderful lecture for all audience.
Since Professor Kenichi Nakagami’s is a Japanese key person, I am wishing the further activity of his future.
