I think volatility of crude oil prices affect the spread of renewable energy.

Crude oil was higher near $ 110 price last year, became cheaper to $ 45.
When a price decline of petroleum continues just as it is, what kind of impact occurs?
I wonder it affect the spread of renewable energy?
Currently crude oil is the mankind maximum of energy resources.
Volatility of crude oil prices also from the point of view of the development of energy-saving technology is scary.
