No swine flu cases confirmed as airport vigilance is raised

A beefed-up corps of doctors and quarantine inspectors was deployed Tuesday at the nation’s major international airports on the lookout for incoming passengers with swine influenza symptoms.
At Narita, about 40 doctors were added to the team of quarantine inspectors.
Roughly 240 inspectors were on hand Tuesday to check the approximately 42,200 incoming passengers.
The increased manpower will continue today, when about 46,100 passengers are expected to return to Narita Airport.(IHT/Asahi: May 6,2009)
